People believe the smell of freshly baked bread makes a home more enticing to a buyer. We set out to test this theory, and create the perfect home selling scent.
MAKING THE SCENT
Based on research by leading universities, and with the help of Dr Megan Thornton, we formulated a persuasive aroma designed to sell a home.
TESTING THE SCENT
We tested Sale Scent against traditional home selling aromas like baked bread, brownies, roast chicken, coffee and more.
RESULTS
Several groups went through our experimental open home inspection, each one exposed to a different scent. They told us what they thought the house was worth. Sale Scent came out on top with the highest average price.

The experiment was released online, getting 2 million views in the first two weeks.
